RANDOM NOTES WITH SCANNED EXEMPLARS

The following exemplars depict renditions by me using various types of pens. Some are just depictions of the writing produced by various pen/nib/ink/paper combinations while others contain instructional information.

In the case of "edged nib" fountain pens, bottled ink was supplied via a converter unless otherwise noted. Rotring nibs noted as "ground" are 1.1 mm nibs that I re-profiled to a nominal .7 mm width -- the range is from .5 mm to .8 mm -- I don't actually measure them. Clairefontaine & Rhodia paper is lined pad unless otherwise noted.
